Free Ice Cream Sundaes at Walmart on Saturday
Is there anybody out there who doesn’t like ice cream? I’ve met people who couldn’t eat it, but I don’t think I’ve ever run across anybody who truly didn’t like it. Well, if you’re a fan of ice cream, I saw a little something over at Common Sense with Money that you might be interested in: Selected Walmart stores are giving away free ice cream sundaes this Saturday, May 22nd, from 11:00 to 4:00. Yum!
You can find out which stores near you are participating here. I checked, and unfortunately the closest store to me that’s doing it is about 45 minutes away. So I guess if I want a sundae, I’ll have to make my own. But if you don’t live in the middle of nowhere like me, there’s probably a participating store closer to you.
More Free Christmas Music
I’m not normally much on Christmas music, except for the occasional rockin’ tune. But I’ve found lots of free stuff online this year, and I’ve been snagging most of it. Partly because I’ve found quite a few songs that suit my discriminating tastes, and partly because I need all the help I can get getting in the Christmas spirit.
At any rate, I just found out about a bunch more songs that are free for the taking that I thought I would share. iTunes is giving away an entire free Christmas sampler album. Not just one of those 5-song deals, but a whole 20 songs by a variety of popular artists. There are songs in all genres, so there’s something for everyone. Get yours here!
Get Your Free Swagbucks!
As you might have figured out from some previous posts, I’m a huge fan of Swagbucks. And today, they gave me yet another reason to love them: They’re celebrating the launch of their new browser toolbar by creating a new Swagcode that any toolbar user can use to get extra Swagbucks every day in September!
If you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks, what are you waiting for? You can earn Swagbucks by simply searching the Web, and you can redeem them for great prizes. I’ve been using mine to get Amazon gift certificates, but there’s tons of awesome stuff you can get. Just follow this link to sign up. Then download the toolbar to get a code that can be redeemed for Swagbucks each day. Even if each code is only worth 1 Swagbuck, by the end of the month you could have as many as 30. There are plenty of things you can get for that many Swagbucks!
We all search online from time to time. We might as well get rewarded for it, right? Right! So head on over and sign up now!
Free Suave Hair Care Product
I’m a big fan of Suave. They make the only shampoos and conditioners I can use that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Back when I had money to burn I used Pantene and Aussie, but I’ve found that Suave works just fine and costs a whole lot less.
Whether you are a long-time Suave customer or haven’t tried their hair care products, you can’t deny that free is good. Today, January 14, 2009 only, Suave is offering a coupon for a free Suave product to everyone who signs up at the Suave website. Just click on the Suavenomics link at the top of the page to fill out the form. Coupons will be sent out by mail in a few weeks. Hurry on over there so you don’t miss out!

Another Place to Get Free Stuff
I was just doing some research for one of my writing projects and got sidetracked. That’s not a good thing, but something good did come out of it: I stumbled upon a site where I can get free products to review!
It’s called ChickAdvisor, and they send you free stuff from time to time. You get to keep it, all you have to do is review it within two weeks. Cool!
I think a lot of the stuff is beauty products, which I can always use. Check out their blog and forums for details. I lost the specific link, but trust me, it’s there.
