Hubby got his first check from his new job. He was disappointed because he thought they paid up to date, but they hold them back a week instead. I figured that out pretty quickly, but try telling him anything like that. Sometimes they just have to learn the hard way.

I also got paid from a couple of projects, but we’re still a little behind on things. So we will still have to spend very carefully until the beginning of the month. Therefore I haven’t resumed my browsing of new computer desks just yet.

I need to find out when the sales tax holiday for clothes and school supplies is. I’m hoping we will have some money by then so I can get most of Pumpkin’s school shopping done. Not having to pay tax saves you more than you might think. When I find out, I’ll post it here.
