I’ve been getting a lot of Christmas catalogs in the mail and from the family Avon lady. So I’ve had Christmas on the brain. I have a really bad feeling that I’m going to have no money again this year, and it’s killing me. So I’m trying to come up with a way to save up enough money to get everyone something for Christmas.

In a way I miss getting paid by the week, or every two weeks. It makes saving money much easier, because you can save so much out of each paycheck and know how much you’re going to have after a certain amount of time. Not getting paid regularly kind of puts a damper on that. But I’m determined to figure out something.

If I could save up $200, I think I could stretch it far enough to buy gifts for the whole family. It wouldn’t be big elaborate gifts or anything, just “It’s the thought that counts” kind of stuff for everybody but Pumpkin. But it would be better than nothing.
