Cheap Vacation Idea

We never have gotten to go on that vacation I wanted so badly this summer. I hope we’ll at least get to go to Tweetsie Railroad before Pumpkin goes back to school.

I’ve thought about trying to get Hubby to go up north next summer. I visited Amish country on my senior trip in high school, and I’ve always wanted to go back. Where I live isn’t all that far removed from it, but I love the little shops and tours they have up there.

We could stay at a Pennsylvania bed and breakfast and visit Hershey while up there. I doubt I could talk him into going on up to New York, but I might give it a try anyhow.

Amish country is a great destination for a cheap vacation. No outrageous amusement park ticket prices or other exorbitant fees. But one could get carried away shopping there.
